Long overdue in posting this SweetElement creation … as you can see by the date on the cake!  This cake was made for a dearly missed colleague’s going away celebration.  As he is an avid blogger, I thought he might enjoy a cake based on his blog — but switched up to showcase his work here and his future endeavors!

The cake was an almond and chocolate layer cake filled and frosted with chocolate buttercream and decorated with a chocolate “blog”
